Your Privacy Matters to Us

The FEDs is a marketing website used to direct inquiries to professional practitioners who assist entities with regulatory actions taken pursuant to Canadian anti-money laundering legislation. The FEDs will do everything that we can to protect you and your privacy. Rest assured that neither will we ever sell or lease your personal information (PI) to unauthorized third parties. Information We Collect

We deal far more often with business information than PI. Where we come into contact with PI via the business clients that we service, it is our policy not to store or house this information in any form beyond the timeframe for which it is needed to fulfill the purpose for which it was shared with us or as required by law. Regardless of whether the information is business related or PI, the FEDs are committed to implementing effective safeguards.

Our Website

We collect information relating to the navigation and use of our website as well as the search terms that lead people to our website using Google Analytics, for instance. More information on this product can be found at www.google.com/analytics.

We may capture information such as your IP address, operating system information, search terms that led to our site, geographic location information, java enabled status, display information, host name, browser information, IT platform information, website navigation history and relevant navigation cookies. We may also share information with other selected service providers for the purpose of improving our website and service offerings.

Our Suppliers

The FEDs work only with carefully selected suppliers and business partners. Where information is shared with third parties, we ensure provisions in place to protect and safeguard information.

International Boundaries

Information that we collect and store may be held in jurisdictions outside of Canada, including the United States of America. As such, information transmitted to or stored in any jurisdiction outside of Canada will be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement & Courts

The FEDs will share information with law enforcement and courts as required by law. Where this is the case we endeavor to ensure that the proper legal channels are observed and that information is shared in compliance with PIPEDA and any other governing laws.

This address should also be used for access to information requests under PIPEDA, however, it should be noted that due to the FEDs information retention policy, we may not have any available PI. Where this the case we will notify you in writing.
